Ruth Terrington, Operations Director of The Hooked-On Group, joined Zellar thanks to North of Tyne sponsored-licences which she’s used for 3 restaurants, accelerating climate action for the restaurant industry in the North East.
Since starting her sustainability journey with Zellar, Ruth has become a sustainability champion for all 3 restaurants, Blackfriars, Dobsons & Parnell and Hinnies. She’s also calculated their building emissions, invested in 7 green tech projects such as installing smart meters and LED lighting, completed 54 sustainability measures, and 9 volunteering hours at Whitley Bay Beach Clean and The Great British Spring Clean.
